The dual channel long column plug sand pump is a special tubular sand pump. This pump can effectively avoid sand jamming and sand burying in the plunger during the operation of the oil pump. Its characteristics are the use of a short pump barrel and a long plunger, with an annular sand settling channel. The oil inlet channel is separated from the sand settling channel, and oil enters from the side. Whether it is during the working process or when the pump is stopped, a sealed fit is always maintained between the entire working surface of the pump barrel and the plunger. Sand particles in the crude oil are not easily able to enter the sealing gap between the pump barrel and the plunger, but rather settle into the settling tail pipe under the pump through the settling channel. In addition, the fixed valve of the pump is salvageable, and during oil well operations, the fixed valve can be pulled out with the plunger. This pump is suitable for oil wells with sand content ranging from 0.18% to 3.2%.
